The incident in a restaurant with a glass floor: On November 9, the glass floor of a lakeside restaurant in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, China was suspected to have broken, causing two customers to fall into the water while dining. One of the deceased was the former mayor of Luojiang District, Quanzhou City.
“Red Star News” reported that recently, it was reported on the Internet that the above-mentioned accident occurred at Julongxuan Restaurant in Julong Town, Hui’an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Pictures posted online show that the restaurant has private rooms built above the lake, and the glass floor has cracks.
Hui’an County officials responded on November 13 that the incident occurred on the evening of the 9th. A total of two people fell into the water. One of them was rescued and the other drowned. The customer who drowned was Su Moumou, the former district chief of Luojiang District, Quanzhou, and he should have been trained there.
Relevant staff said that the hotel had closed due to “renovation.”
According to public information, Julongxuan is located on the bank of Julong Lake, nestled against half of the mountains, and is composed of a main hall and ten pavilions on the water. The ground in the pavilion is paved with transparent glass, and you can see the fish in the lake while dining.
