Spain star Jenni Hermoso reacts after FA president kisses her on lips!

Spain star Jenni Hermoso reacts after FA: Spain star Jenni Hermoso said she “did not enjoy it” after being kissed on the lips by Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales.

The incident happened as Hermoso approached the podium after Spain beat England 1-0 in the Women’s World Cup final, thanks to Olga Carmona’s goal.

After getting her medal from FIFA president Gianni Infantino, Hermoso received a hug from Rubiales, who lifted her off her feet. A brief chat followed before Rubiales grabbed Hermoso around the back and kissed her on the lips.

Outrage quickly spread on social media, with some accusing Rubiales of inappropriate behavior. Former England player Casey Stoney tweeted: “Would he kiss a male player like this? This is NOT ok.”

When asked about it, Hermoso told Spanish TV network La 1: “Eh… yeah, I did not enjoy that.”

Rubiales was also asked and told Radio Marca it was just “two people having a minor show of affection” and that he won’t acknowledge “idiocy” from those outraged.

The World Cup caps a glittering career for the 33-year-old Hermoso, who has played for Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. She currently plays for Mexican club Pachuca.

Carmona’s first-half goal epitomized Spain’s slick style and was enough to edge the Lionesses, gaining revenge for their Euro 2022 quarterfinal loss.

Hermoso had a penalty saved by England’s Mary Earps, but the Lionesses couldn’t equalize as Spain held on.
