The book features 12 families’ memories and thoughts after losing loved ones. William thanked them for opening up about their deeply personal journeys. As someone bereaved at a young age, William said his thoughts are with others navigating profound loss. He hopes the book provides support amid grief.

The Prince has personal experience with loss from Diana’s death in 1997. He was also an air ambulance pilot and supports a child bereavement charity.
The new book aims to guide and comfort those experiencing sudden loss. William’s heartfelt words acknowledge the challenges of bereavement while providing solidarity.
