Prince Harry’s First ‘Heart of Invictus’ Scene Includes a Sweet Nod to His Kids Archie and Lilibet

The first episode of Prince Harry’s new Netflix docuseries Heart of Invictus features a touching reference to his children with Meghan Markle. In an interview scene, Harry introduces himself as “a dad of two under three-year-olds.”
The nod to son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2, comes as Harry discusses his work with the Invictus Games Foundation. Additional footage shows Harry hiking while wearing a “Papa Bear” hat, a name he’s said Archie uses.
Heart of Invictus follows competitors’ training for the 2022 Invictus Games adaptive sports tournament founded by Harry. During a hike, former British Army veterans and past competitors discuss how their perspectives changed after becoming fathers.
Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 after being inspired by the Warrior Games. The event aims to harness sports’ transformative power for wounded service members.
The 5-episode Netflix series comes from Harry and Meghan’s production company Archewell Productions. Harry served as an executive producer on the project.
The show arrives ahead of the 2023 Invictus Games in Germany, which a spokesperson confirmed Harry will attend with Meghan. Their sweet on-screen mention of Archie and Lilibet underscores Harry’s devotion as both an Invictus founder and dad.
