Megan Thee Stallion Surprises the Crowd at Beyoncé: Beyoncé’s Houston Renaissance Tour stop featured a surprise guest appearance from fellow Houston native Megan Thee Stallion. Videos show the rappers performing their hit “Savage (Remix)” together live for the first time.

Megan had previously seen the tour as a fan alongside JAY-Z. She dropped out of a festival to join Beyoncé onstage in their hometown.

Their 2020 collaboration propelled “Savage” to #1 after going viral on TikTok. At the 2021 Grammys, Megan thanked her idol Beyoncé for the feature, calling it a career goal.

Beyoncé praised Megan’s work ethic and talent in return. Megan has since expressed disbelief that the collaboration actually happened.

The Houston homecoming show brought their chart-topping track full circle. Megan and Beyoncé’s spontaneous joint performance thrilled the crowd and cemented their status as Houston rap queens.

Beyoncé also sung her praises of the rap star by saying, “I’m proud of you. I quickly want to give my love to Megan. I have so much respect for you.”

Megan Thee Stallion again opened up about working with the 32-time Grammy winner in Elle’s May 2023 issue.

She said, “I didn’t believe she was actually gonna do it, but she did it, and my mind was blown. I called my granny. Me and my manager was in my living room, going crazy.”
