Margot Robbie makes special appearance on ‘Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge’ finale
Margot Robbie in Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge: The winner was announced on Sunday’s finale of HGTV’s Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, and they brought in a very fitting special guest to help crown the champion: Barbie herself, aka Margot Robbie.
The four-part event was inspired by the new Barbie film and featured eight teams of two, mostly made up of HGTV stars. Their challenge was to transform a California home into the ultimate Barbie Dreamhouse, each taking inspiration from different decades.

After two teams went head-to-head in each episode, the four winners had their spaces judged during the “pink carpet finale.” The finalists were Jasmine Roth and Antonia Lofaso (kitchen and family room), Christina Hall and James Bender (dressing room and closet), Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt (backyard), and Alison Victoria and Ty Pennington (Ken’s den).
The winning team would not only take the title of “Dreamiest” space, but also win a donation to charity in their honor. They were also competing for one of eight Barbie fans to spend a night in the completed Dreamhouse.
After the judges toured the home, host Ashley Graham brought out a “very special guest” to announce the winner – none other than Barbie stars Margot Robbie, Issa Rae, America Ferrara and Simu Liu from the new Barbie movie.
“We cannot believe the amazing work done to transform this house,” Robbie told the excited crowd. And with a drumroll from Liu, she proclaimed the backyard by Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt the winning space. The couple was playing for superfan Marcos.
Robbie offered congratulations to all the teams on the video call. The Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge finale aired Sunday at 8pm on HGTV.
