Kendall Jenner Is the Ultimate Horse Girl: Kendall Jenner and Stella McCartney are connecting through their shared love of horses, as the model stars in Stella’s Winter 2023 campaign.
Shot by renowned photographer Harley Weir, Jenner is pictured among the famous white ponies of France’s Camargue Salt Flats. Extending the brand’s FW23 Paris showcase, horse whisperer and rescuer Jean-Francois Pignon returns to ensure the animals’ safety and wellbeing.
“I knew this season’s Stella girl had to love horses like I do. Kendall has been riding since childhood, just like me, and has her own ranch; you can see how comfortable she is around these sensitive creatures, and them with her. Capturing this brings Horse Power to life, through both fashion and vision,” explains McCartney.
Tapping into their lifelong equestrian passion, the campaign celebrates the collection’s horse-inspired essence, including Appaloosa prints, bridle rope details and quilting recalling classic blankets.
The Winter 2023 collection maintains the brand’s responsible design ethos, crafted using 92% conscious materials. It debuts apple waste vegan crocodile bags and grape waste riding boots. Accessories feature plant-based fungi and MIRIUM leather alternatives.
