Jennifer Lopez new song: On Monday, the 53-year-old singer shared a snippet of an upcoming track “Midnight Trip to Vegas” in her newsletter. The song seems to reference the couple’s surprise nuptials last year, with lyrics about heading to Vegas on a whim with their kids and getting married at the chapel.

In the full lyrics Lopez revealed, the song begins with them questioning their lavish wedding plans and deciding to elope instead. The lyrics describe driving to Vegas in a pink Cadillac, stopping at the DMV to get a “Just Married” sign for the car, and being glad they kept it simple.
The impromptu Vegas wedding was followed a month later by a lavish second ceremony in August 2022 attended by family, friends, and celebrity guests.
Lopez’s new album This Is Me… Now, featuring “Midnight Trip to Vegas,” serves as a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me… Then inspired by her original relationship with Affleck. Lopez said this new album marks her first deeply personal work in two decades, with Affleck again being her muse.
Their rekindled romance, which began on the set of Gigli in 2001, has clearly stirred Lopez’s creative spirit once more. The song looks back fondly on one of the more spontaneous moments in their relationship.
