Jenna Ortega Denies Johnny Depp Romance Rumors: 20-year-old actress Jenna Ortega has shot down rumors she’s been romantically linked to 60-year-old Johnny Depp. Ortega took to Instagram to refute the speculation.
“This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh,” she wrote. “I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.”

Depp’s rep also denied any relationship, saying he doesn’t know Ortega and is appalled by the “baseless and malicious” rumors intended to damage his reputation.
Rumors emerged after reports claimed the two were spotted together, sparking assumptions about a Beetlejuice 2 role for Depp. But his rep said he isn’t involved in any project with Ortega.
Ortega stars in the upcoming sequel as the daughter of Winona Ryder’s character. Depp’s name appearing in Google Cast searches further fueled speculation.
However, Ortega firmly shut down the unfounded 40-year age gap romance rumors. Depp appears equally dismayed by the harmful gossip.
Both stars clearly want the false claims halted, as they have no personal or professional relationship whatsoever despite online chatter. Ortega says they’ve never even met.
