The husband leaves his wife in the bar because of the 2000 pound cocktail!

2000 pound cocktail: A woman was upset after discovering her cocktail at a London hotel bar cost a staggering £2,000, forcing her husband to leave the house.
Lynsey took to TikTok to remember ordering a cocktail called ’18 90′. The woman assumed the cost was £18.90, not £1,890, because of the menu design.
“When I realized the cocktail I had ordered was £2,000, I showed my husband the receipt and he got mad at me,” she said. “So he left the bar. He left me to deal with it. I said to the young guy behind the bar: ‘Look, I’m so sorry, I didn’t know this cocktail cost £1,890.’
He later confirmed in comments that the cocktail contained crystal champagne, a sprinkling of gold leaf, and 30-year-old whiskey.

“A similar thing happened to us. My dad thought he was being funny and ordered an iron bru in 1901. The waiter didn’t know what it was and assumed it was 1 whisky. It was a top-shelf whiskey that cost ££. One wrote: “Dad doesn’t even like whiskey.”
Another said: “The problem is with the menu, layout and printing. If it’s not clear, you can challenge it.”
Meanwhile, Soumi added: What scares me more than this situation is the behavior of your husband who left you alone in such a situation.
After being inundated with questions from her TikTokers, Lynsey is back with a new video.
He explained that the manager told him not to worry about it, and Lynsey tried to enjoy the remaining four days of her trip.

He said: “I was totally on my nerves – if they were asking me to pay for this cocktail, which I wouldn’t even enjoy because it’s whiskey-based and I don’t like whiskey – so I avoided the bar like the plague.”
One night he decided to revisit the bar where he saw the manager.
The manager told him that the bartender had been fired, which Linsey was upset about, and offered to foot the bill because it wasn’t worth firing anyone.
Luckily, it turns out she was joking, but she said she’s given more training because staff need to tell people the fees to avoid such misunderstandings.
